Three hooded figures in finch-shaped masks channelled the courtyard portal from behind the ghoul line, and a fourth held the smaller, more stable portal in the wine cellar. They were not strong individually and none were captured alive; searched afterward they carried only small purses of coin and their masks.
Rowan and Ottora's religion and lore checks turned up nothing about the symbol. The masks appear to be a rank system rather than decoration — the man who came for Adrian wore a raven, and the party never got a straight answer about who any of them serve.
